Join us this summer on a hike with Black Mountain Recreation & Parks new Director, Jacob Guiot! Jacob joins our department with 20 years of parks experience, a love for the outdoors, and a passion for recreation. Our second hike in this series will be to the stunning Tom's Creek Falls located just outside of Marion, NC. This out-band-back hike will be approximately 2 miles long and is rated as easy in difficulty. Registered participants must check-in at the Lake Tomahawk tennis courts (near the picnic pavilion) prior to this event to go over additional details for the hike. Once everyone is checked-in and all safety protocols have been covered, participants can either carpool or ride in the parks and rec van.
